- 4 to 5 lb. ground beef
- salt and pepper
- 3 to 4 onions, chopped
- margarine
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 to 3 qt. tomatoes, cut up
- 14 oz. bottle ketchup
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
Directions

1Brown ground beef; drain.

2Add salt and pepper.

3Saute onions in margarine.

4Boil celery in water.

5Combine all ingredients (except the kidney beans).

6Simmer 2 hours.

7Add beans and simmer another 1/2 hour.
