- 1 lb. Portuguese sausage
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
- 3 (16 oz.) cans chili con carne
- 1 (16 oz.) can corn
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- pinch of oregano leaves
- pinch of basil leaves
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
Directions

1Slice sausage.

2Brown sausage, ground beef and onion.

3Lower the heat to simmer.

4Drain the oil from meats.

5Add remaining ingredients to meats.

6Simmer for 2 to 3 hours.

7Season to taste. Makes a big pot . . . enough to feed 12 hungry basketball players.
