- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 onion
- 3 cans whole tomatoes
- 1 large can kidney beans
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cut bacon in small pieces and fry in medium-size pot.

2Add diced onion.

3Fry well.

4Add chopped meat, salt and pepper and brown.

5Add tomatoes and cook on low for 1 1/2 hours.

6Add kidney beans and cook 1/2 hour more.

7Add chili powder.

8Serve with shredded cheese and raw onion, if desired.
