- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can chili beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 c. chopped, canned tomatoes (optional)
- 1 pkg. chili seasoning or mix
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook chopped onion slightly.

2Add beef and brown until fairly done.

3Salt and pepper to taste.

4Add garlic salt.

5Blend in package of chili seasoning.

6Add tomato paste plus three cans water.

7Stir until blended.

8Fold in beans and cook over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes.

9Reduce heat to simmer and cook as long as desired.

10I usually let it simmer at least an hour and a half.
