Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 5 tsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Directions

1In large skillet, cook ground chuck, onion and garlic until meat is brown and onion and garlic are tender.

2Drain off fat. Return to heat.

3Add tomatoes and seasoning.

4Mix well.

5When bubbly, reduce heat to low.

6Cover and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

7Beans may be added, if desired (two 15 ounce cans pinto beans).

8If beans are added, simmer 15 minutes longer.
