- 2 lb. ground meat (beef, turkey, pork, etc.)
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 large green bell pepper, diced
- 4 gloves garlic, diced
- 1 (16 oz.) can mushroom pieces and stems
- 2 (32 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 c. red kidney beans, canned or cooked (throw juice away)
- Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 c. chili powder
- 1/8 c. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Saute onion, green pepper, mushrooms and garlic in water until tender.

2Add ground meat and continue to cook on medium heat until browned.

3Add tomatoes and spices.

4Simmer on low heat for 1 hour. Add beans and heat thoroughly.

5Use Tabasco to add as much zip as you and your family like.
