- 3 qt. whole, peeled tomatoes
- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes (adds color)
- 1 spring onion (adds color)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder, depending on taste
- 1 small green pepper, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. ketchup
Directions

1Brown ground beef until done.

3Blend all ingredients in large pot on stove.

4Cook on low-medium heat until desired consistency is attained, usually 1 hour.
