- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, sliced (about 1 c.)
- 1 green pepper, sliced (about 3/4 c.)
- 1 lb. can (2 c.) tomatoes, broken up
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans, drained
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 bay leaf
Directions

1In a heavy saucepan cook meat, onion and peppers until meat is lightly browned and veggies are tender.

2Stir in tomatoes, sauce, beans, salt, chili powder and bay leaf.

3Cook on low for at least 6 hours.
