- 1 lb. beef stew meat
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cut stew meat into 1/2-inch cubes.

2Saute beef in oil until meat is brown.

3Add seasoning, tomato sauce and water.

4Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour.

5Empty beans into colander and rinse bean juice off beans.

6Add beans and heat.
