  • 2 cups quinoa, cooked
  • 12 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 12 teaspoon ground cumin, I do not use
  • 12 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • 14 teaspoon kosher salt

Directions

    Combine quinoa, salt, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano and 2 eggs.

    You should have a dough like mixture, if not add another egg.

    Heat a large skillet or large griddle over medium high heat.

    Lightly oil skillet with vegetable oil.

    Make a 1/4 inch patty out of 1/4 cup of the quinoa mixture.

    Place on griddle/skillet.

    Repeat to make 7 more patties.

    Cook for 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

    Remove from heat and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
