- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburg or ground turkey
- dash of red pepper
- 3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 tsp. chili powder or to taste
- 2 c. drained and rinsed red kidney beans
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 small cans tomato sauce
Directions

1Rub skillet with garlic powder.

2Add oil and heat.

3Add peppers and onion.

4Do not brown.

5Add meat and brown.

6Add chili pepper and mix well.

7Add tomatoes, beans and water.

8Season with salt. Cover and let simmer gently 30 to 40 minutes.
