- 1 c. rice
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can green chilies
- 12 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Cook rice.

2Brown hamburger. Grease a 3-quart casserole dish. Line bottom of dish with rice. Cover with green chilies, then put half of cheese, then hamburger, then sliced tomatoes. Combine sour cream, green pepper and seasonings.

3Pour over casserole and put rest of cheese on.

4Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
