- 1 large can lima beans
- 1 large can butter beans
- 1 large can kidney beans
- 1 can pork and beans (larger than the kidney beans)
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 chopped onion (medium)
Directions

1Drain lima, butter and kidney beans.

2Cut up and fry bacon. Drain.

3Save a small amount of bacon drippings (about 3 tablespoons).

4In a large casserole, mix beans and bacon.

5Brown onion in bacon drippings.

6Add sugar and vinegar.

7Cook to slightly thicken.

8Add to beans.

9Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

10Freezes well. Can make sauce ahead and store in refrigerator.
