  • 1 (12 oz.) bag corn chips
  • 1 (16 oz.) can chili
  • 2 c. cooked pinto beans
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped bell peppers or mild sweet peppers
  • 1 c. shredded cheese

Directions

    Spread butter in a 3-quart baking dish.

    Line the dish with corn chips.

    In a saucepan, combine chili and beans.

    Heat. Alternate layers of chili beans, onions, peppers, corn chips and cheese.

    Put layer of cheese last.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Yields approximately 7 to 8 servings.
