  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can pork and beans
  • 2 cans tomatoes
  • chili powder to taste
  • 1 small green pepper, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown onion and green pepper in oil.

    Add hamburger.

    Stir until hamburger is slightly browned; drain.

    Add beans; let warm. Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt and pepper; simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

    Can sprinkle diced onion and cheese over servings.
