- 1/2 lb. pinto beans
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 4 tsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 cans tomatoes
Directions

1Cook beans.

2Drain.

3Save 1 cup liquid.

4Cook meat until no longer pink.

5Add onions, celery, green pepper and garlic powder. Cook about 5 minutes.

6Add spices.

7Cut up tomatoes and add to meat, beans and liquid.

8Bring to a boil.

9Reduce heat to low. Cover with lid.

10Simmer for about 1 hour.
