  • 2 (15 oz.) cans chili or 4 c. homemade chili
  • 1 pkg. white buttermilk or Cotton Pickin' cornbread mix
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Pour chili into ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.

    Combine remaining ingredients in order listed; blend well.

    Pour batter over chili.

    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until done.
