- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 c. cooked macaroni
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. chopped tomatoes
- 1 c. kidney beans
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook first 4 ingredients in large pan over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble beef.

2Drain well.

3Wipe pan with paper towel.

4Return beef mixture to pan.

5Add cooked elbow macaroni and next 6 ingredients.

6Stir well.

7Bring to boil. Cover.

8Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.

9Top with cheese.
