  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 4 oz. pkg. elbow macaroni
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable fat
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 (No. 2) can kidney beans
  • 1/2 c. water
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Brown meat, pepper and onions in fat.

    Add tomato soup, beans, salt and pepper.

    Mix chili powder, sugar, vinegar and water. Stir into the meat.

    Mix uncooked macaroni in last.

    Cook in covered dish at 350° for 40 minutes.
