- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 can (28 oz.) whole peeled tomatoes
- 4 oz. mushrooms (canned or fresh)
- chili powder
- 1/2 lb. elbow macaroni
Directions

1Brown ground beef, along with onion and green pepper.

2Season with garlic powder and black pepper.

3Add mushrooms and cook until tender.

4Add canned tomatoes (broken up).

5Sprinkle with chili powder to taste.

6Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer approximately 15 minutes.

7Meanwhile, prepare elbow macaroni according to package directions.

8Drain macaroni and add to chili mixture.

9Let sit for 5 minutes.

10Stir and serve.
