Chili Noodle Soup

  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 qt. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can Worthington chili
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. crushed oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. chicken seasoning
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 2 c. dry noodles

Directions

    Put tomatoes, water, salt and chili in a kettle and boil. Saute onion and celery in a frypan.

    Add beaten eggs and scramble. Then put onion-egg mixture in the chili.

    Add seasonings.

    Bring to boiling.

    Add noodles.

    Simmer 45 minutes.
