  • 2 small cans whole Ortega chilies (green ones)
  • 3 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Split chilies and rinse out seeds.

    Lay flat in lightly greased baking dish (13 x 9 x 2-inch).

    Grate cheese and spread over top of chilies.

    Beat eggs and add sour cream.

    Mix well.

    Pour over top of cheese.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350° or when knife comes clean when inserted in center.
