Chili Rellenos Bake

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
- 2 oz. American cheese (1/2 c.)
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- dash of pepper
- dash of hot pepper sauce
Directions

1Brown beef and onion; drain fat.

2Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.

3Split peppers and remove seeds.

4Lay half of chilies on the bottom of a shallow dish.

5Sprinkle with cheese; top with meat. Arrange rest of chilies over meat.

6Add milk to flour, salt, pepper, eggs and hot pepper sauce.

7Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean.

8Pour off fat; cool 5 minutes.

9Serves 2.
