  • 2 doz. tomatoes
  • 3 green peppers
  • 3 medium onions
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 2 level tsp. salt
  • 1 level Tbsp. each: ground cloves, nutmeg, ginger and allspice

Directions

    Scald and peel the tomatoes.

    Cut them in small pieces and put with all the other ingredients into a saucepan.

    Cook very slowly for 3 hours and then bottle and seal.
