- 18 medium ripe tomatoes
- 8 good size onions
- 2 red hot peppers
- 2 sweet green peppers
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 c. white vinegar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Parboil tomatoes.

2Remove skin and chop into small pieces. Peel onions and cut and remove seeds from peppers.

3Use grinder or food processor to chop up onions and peppers.

4Combine everything in an enamel pan and cook from 2 1/2 to 3 hours over low heat.

5Can hot; put in hot jars.
