- 1 peck peeled tomatoes
- 3 onions, chopped
- 1 c. green peppers, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1 large red or yellow medium hot pepper
- 1 c. cooking salt
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
Directions

1Combine everything except vinegar and sugar.

2Stir well and let stand for 4 hours.

3Drain in a cloth bag overnight.

4In the morning, bring to a boil the vinegar and sugar.

5Add the vegetables and can in sterilized hot jars. Do not boil.
