  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 medium round steak
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 to 3 cans chopped green chilies
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Dice round steak into small cubes.

    Put in large pan or skillet with small amount of oil.

    Brown this and all the chopped onion.

    Add enough water to cover meat.

    Add 1/2 can tomato sauce. Cover; simmer for 30 minutes.

    Add the green chilies.

    Cover; simmer for 30 minutes more.

    Thicken with cornstarch, if you wish. Use over tortillas, as a filler for burritos, chips, etc.
