  • 2 lb. pork steak
  • 2 large onions
  • 8 Tbsp. flour
  • 6 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 2/3 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. cumin, ground
  • 3 (7 oz.) cans whole green chilies

Directions

    Cut fat from steaks.

    Cut into bite size pieces.

    Fry pork until done.

    Remove meat.

    Fry onions until tender.

    Make gravy with drippings, flour and water.

    Return meat and onions to gravy with all other ingredients.

    Simmer for 2 1/2 hours.

    Serve with refried beans and Spanish rice.
