Ingredients

  • 3 lb chorizo sausage
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 3 clove minced garlic
  • 1 can 28oz crushed tomatoes
  • 2 can 14 1/2 diced Mexican tomatoes
  • 2 can 4oz chopped green chillies
  • 1 can 15oz pinto beans, drained & rinsed
  • 2 can 15oz black beans, drained & rinsed
  • 12 oz Corona (any Mexican beer, not light) beer
  • 2 jalapeno chopped (opt)
  • 1 tbsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tsp crushed dried oregano
  • 1 tsp crushed dried marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (or to taste)

    Brown chorizo, onion, garlic in a large saucepan.

    Drain off fat.

    Combine meat mixture with remaining ingredients, over medium heat bring to a boil, reduce heat cover& simmer for 30min
