Chinese Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 c. bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. onion, chopped (may use some green onions)
  • 1 can Chinese vegetables
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced

Directions

    Boil cabbage in small amount of salted water for 5 minutes and drain.

    Saute all vegetables, except cabbage, in butter.
  3. 3
    Butter a baking dish and layer cabbage and then vegetables until all are used.
