Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 pieces skinless breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 large ripe tomato, chunked
  • 4 oz. water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 4 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped green onions
  • 1 c. slant celery
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce

Directions

    Coat chicken chunks with cornstarch.

    Heat wok to medium temperature.

    Put in oil.

    Add chicken and cook about 3 minutes or until brown.

    Add all the ingredients.

    Cover and simmer about 5 minutes.

    Serve over hot rice.
