Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 3 (10 oz.) boxes frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped celery
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and cut
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Heat oils, then put in vegetables and cook about 15 minutes or until tender.

    Stir occasionally.

    Dissolve 1/4 cup of broth and cornstarch, then add remaining broth and soy sauce; cook until thick.

    Pour over vegetables and heat.
