- 4 lb. spareribs
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. fresh grated ginger
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce (buy in Chinese store)
- 2 Tbsp. sherry or other wine
- 1/4 c. hoisin sauce
Directions

1Heat grill.

2Put ribs on grill over dripping pan.

3Cook ribs until tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

4Meanwhile, in blender or food processor, puree garlic, ginger, soy sauce, wine and hoisin until smooth.

5During last 30 minutes of cooking, baste ribs several times during cooking.

6Serves 4.
