  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped tart cooking apples, pared
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry (optional)

Directions

    Mix together in order listed the egg, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla and salt.

    Then mix together apples, chopped nuts and sherry.

    Blend both mixtures together and pour into greased pie pan.

    Bake in preheated 350° oven for 25 minutes.
