- 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 11 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef, cut in pieces
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, grated
- pepper to taste
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Oven toast pecans in butter and salt.

2Mix cream cheese, milk, beef, green pepper, onion and pepper.

3Fold in sour cream and half of nuts.

4Place in baking dish and sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

5Serve in chafing dish with Melba rounds.
