  • 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 11 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef, cut in pieces
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 c. sour cream

Directions

    Oven toast pecans in butter and salt.

    Mix cream cheese, milk, beef, green pepper, onion and pepper.

    Fold in sour cream and half of nuts.

    Place in baking dish and sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Serve in chafing dish with Melba rounds.
