Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk, separated
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3/4 c. melted oleo
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk in double boiler or microwave. Set aside.

2Grease 9 x 13-inch pan and flour.

3In large bowl combine dry cake mix, oleo and 1/3 cup milk.

4Press 1/2 of dough in pan and bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

5Sprinkle chocolate chips over cake.

6Spread caramel over chips.

7Crumble remaining dough on top. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

8Cool.

9Then put in refrigerator before serving.

10Cut into tiny squares.
