  • 4 oz. glace cherries
  • 4 oz. walnuts
  • 4 oz. shortcake biscuits
  • 6 oz. milk chocolate
  • 1 oz. butter
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 1 Tbsp. brandy
  • 3 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 small carton heavy cream, whipped

    Chop most of cherries in half.

    Then chop the nuts and biscuits until they are pea size.

    Melt butter over low heat.

    Add chocolate, then sugar.
  5. 5
    Stir until dissolved.

    Remove from heat. Fold in egg yolk and brandy.

    Beat in egg white.

    Add the cherries, walnuts and biscuits (not the crumbs).

    Press into loaf pan and cool in refrigerator.
