- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2/3 c. whole-wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. raisins
Directions

1Cream butter and sugars, add egg and vanilla and beat until fluffy.

2Mix flour with salt and soda.

3Stir into creamed mixture, blending well.

4Add remaining ingredients.

5Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.

6Bake in preheated 375° oven 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.

7Remove at once from pan and cool on rack. Makes about 3 dozen.
