  • 1 devils food mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 lg. eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 pkg. (12 oz. each) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup seedless raspberry jam
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 cups powedered sugar

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients and 1/4 cup sour cream in large bowl.

    Using mixer beat batter for 2 minutes.

    Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips.

    Divide among two 9-inch cake pans.

    Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.

    Cool for 15 minutes, remove from pans.

    Bring jam and butter to simmer.

    Remove from heat add 3 cups chocolate chips; stir until they melt.

    Beat in 3/4 cups sour cream and sugar.
