- 1 cup rolled oats (80 grams)
- 14 cup desiccated coconut
- 12 cup self-raising flour
- 12 cup wholemeal self-rising flour
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 12 cup margarine
- 12 cup water
- 14 cup currants
- 14 cup peanuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius.

2Lightly oil baking (cookie sheet) tray.

3Combine rolled oats, coconut, both flours, cocoa, sugar and bicarbonate of soda in a large mixing bowl.

4Melt the margarine in a small saucepan and add to the dry ingredients, then add the water and then the currants and peanuts and stir so all is well combined and mixed through.

5Roll the mixture into balls the size of a 20 cent piece and place on the baking tray.

6Bake in oven for 15 minutes.
