  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate syrup
  • 1 c. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions

    Cream together the butter and sugar. Add and mix the eggs and chocolate syrup. Combine in a bowl the flour, salt and baking powder. Gradually add to the chocolate mixture. Add the vanilla and nuts. Pour brownies into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
