- 1/4 lb. Prosciutto
- 1/4 c. vodka
- 3 pt. heavy cream
- 2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 4 egg whites, slightly beaten
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
- peas (optional)
Directions

1In frying pan, cube Prosciutto and saute in 2 tablespoons butter until browned; add vodka (flame vodka for 10 seconds).

2Put remaining ingredients in pot.

3Be sure to break up tomatoes and all juice; heat.

4Add Prosciutto and juice from frying pan.

5Cook on low for 20 to 30 minutes.

6Makes enough sauce for 3/4 to 1 pound pasta.
