  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. sugar (white)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients into an 8 x 8-inch cake pan.

    Make 3 small wells into flour, then add remaining ingredients and mix in pan. Don't attempt to get all lumps out.

    Do not grease or flour pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Serve warm with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
