  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring to a boil the oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water.

    Sift together sugar and flour.

    Pour liquid over dry ingredients.

    Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, cinnamon and vanilla.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
