  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1/3 c. Crisco oil

    Mix as directed on cake mix box.

    Grease and line cake pans with wax paper.

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Pour 1/2 cup batter in each pan.

    Spread out over pan.

    Cook only a few minutes.

    Cool.

    Repeat until all layers are made.

    Use your favorite chocolate icing. Very good!
