- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus additional, to dust
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 None egg
- None None FOR THE TOPPING
- 8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, chopped
- 2 cans (14 oz each) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 7 x 11-inch baking pan and line the bottom with parchment paper, extending the paper 2 inches over the long sides.

2Sift the flour and cocoa into a medium bowl. Stir in the sugar and coconut. Add the melted butter, vanilla and egg and stir until combined.

3Spoon the mixture into the prepared pan. Use the back of a spoon to press into the bottom of the pan. Cover with a sheet of parchment paper and press down firmly until even and smooth. Refrigerate for 15 mins.

4Meanwhile, for the topping, place the chopped butter, condensed milk and syrup in a medium saucepan on low heat. Stir until combined. Remove from the heat. Pour over the chocolate crust. Bake for about 25 mins or until the top is golden brown. Cool, then refrigerate until firm.

5Dust the top with additional cocoa powder. Cut into squares and serve.
