- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/4 c. chocolate wafer crumbs (about 30 wafers)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2 (3 oz. each) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Melt butter in a 9-inch square baking pan.

3Stir in crumbs and 1/2 cup nuts.

4Press to cover bottom of pan.

5In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, cocoa, egg and vanilla at medium speed until smooth.

6Pour over crust and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup nuts.

7Bake 20 minutes.

8Let stand at room temperature for 2 hours.

9Cut into 1-inch squares.

10Store, covered, in refrigerator.
