  • 1/4 c. unsalted butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
  • sweetened whipped cream

Directions

    Mix together butter, sugar, cocoa and salt.

    Add eggs.

    Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

    Stir in milk and vanilla.

    Fold in pecans.

    Pour into pie shell and bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

    Pipe whipped cream around edges.
