- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 3 eggs
- dash of salt
- baked pastry shell
- 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- whipped cream and chocolate curls
Directions

1Soften the unflavored gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.

2Combine the chocolate and water; stir over low heat until blended.

3Remove from heat.

4Add gelatin until dissolved.

5Beat 3 egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar until light.

6Add chocolate mixture, dash of salt and the vanilla.

7Cool.

8Beat 3 egg whites.

9Add 1/2 cup sugar. Fold into chocolate mixture.

10Pour into baked pastry shell.

11Chill until firm.

12Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
