  • 6 tbsp (90 ml) butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup (225 ml) plus 1 tbsp (15 ml) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/3 cups (325 ml) flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp (7 ml) baking powder
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
  • 1 cup (225 ml) sour cream
  • 6 oz (168 grm). chocolate chips

    Cream butter with 1 cup (225 ml) sugar.

    Add eggs and mix.

    Mix flour, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together.

    Add flour mixture to egg mixture and stir.

    Add sour cream; mix until smooth.

    Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 inch x 13 inch baking pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 35 minutes.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
